The assignment involves a gradual renovation and modernisation of Gyldendal’s older, partially listed property in central Copenhagen. 

The aim has been to create a contemporary setting in an architectural overall solution, respecting the property’s cultural heritage, yet still supporting Gyldendal’s identity as a modern, future-oriented publishing house. 

The job has, among other things, included the establishment of a new main entrance, a new reception area and new street facades, renovation of courtyard- and gates, decoration of a new supervisor’s office and guardroom, larger assembly and meeting facilities, and a showroom.
